So starting with our key looks first - full length, mid and head shots also gave me time to think about how the outdoor shower shot might work best. Initially the sun was still too high, the cliff on one side looked very dull and shaded; there was plenty to think about. So we got started on the 'simple' shots which also gives me time to get to know the model, let them get used to me and the camera; loosen up, and get that all important connection between the model and the camera happening. By the time we were done with those looks, the sun was lower; and I saw I could grab back-lit shots, the type I had been planning to do sometime at another Sydney beach; and also shoot out into the harbour for some blue water with well balanced light. Thanks Gaz for a great shoot. Need a folio, hit me up; I loved shooting this folio Makin' It Happen - Location Modelling Portfolio for Gaz,.
